My first confrontation with art was when I was a little boy cleaning my father's paint brushes. Later,
for long years I worked in various studios performing painting, graphic arts, serigraphy and plate press
preparation. For some time I worked abroad as a heavy construction vehicle operator. Even in that
period I kept practising art, painting hometown landscapes on the walls of the buildings where the
workers passed their free time. I also did stage design and acted as stage director for workers'
theatre in Turkey. I am married with two children. After I got retired I settled in the town of Talas
near Kayseri.
Today, I occasionally paint landscape pictures outside, on empty walls
in my town, and at home, I paint small pictures that can be placed on tables.
