Transformer Station Art

Ismetsan Dayigurepik, a painter living in Kayseri, a town in Central Anatolia, prefers painting on transformer stations rather than on canvas. Ismetsan Dayigurepik paints pictures on transformer stations, thus decorating the town while performing his art. The artist says that he started this practice in order to avoid the restrictive confines of little canvases.
